Plant-Powered Weekend! ⚡️ Upstate Mission-Move, Meditate, Nature, Veggie BBQ 🥬

The Minor Planet team welcomed long time friend Nori Ko, founder of Sunshine Juice in Japan, to New York. To celebrate and build new memories, we all jumped into the van and went on an upstate mission to get the freshest vegetables we could. The goal was to come back to New York City full of veggies and fruits and make juice and grill for our friends. And in true Minor Planet fashion, visit nature, move, meditate, eat healthy, and hang with friends!

Part 1: Upstate Mission

We hit that road at 7am to beat all the weekend traffic out of New York City. Half of the crew ended up taking a nice nap as we made our way to Hudson, NY.

We arrived in Hudson, NY, where we meet the other half of the crew. Breakfast was at Little Rico, a wellness Bodega with fresh juices and veggie breakfast bowls. Perfect combo for the Minor Planet Crew!

Then, it was off to Mx Morningstar Farm to get our fresh veggies. And we hit the jack pot!

Then it was off to the trails to find a waterfall.

One last meal before heading back to the city.

Part 2: Veggie BBQ

We invited all our friends for a veggie bbq at 138 Bayard Studios, Omar Rivera's epic indoor skatepark, skate shop, art and community space. To start things off, we had a quick breathing exercise on the halfpipe and 5K run. After we got back, we got the juicer going and the charcoal heated up. It was a chill time with positive energy. There was a open skate and a cold plunge. Most importantly, all of us sharing a healthy meal together!

Thank you to everyone for coming. We will see you next time!
