Beach Clean up with Laru Beya Collective

We joined forces with Laru Beya Collective for a beach clean-up at Rockaway Beach. Laru Beya is an amazing organization that provides free surf lessons and a community for youth in Rockaway. Kids get to learn to surf but also learn about water safety and preserving our natural environments. 

Today, we were glad to support their regular beach clean up. We picked up a lot of trash. Each bag was 25 kg and we filled up 4 bags. It’s not great seeing so much trash on the beach so it was good we were out there.

Next time you are at Rockaway Beach or any beach, think about doing your own beach clean up with your crew. We can all help contribute to a healthier and cleaner world.
